JJ: “Erm, ok…we’re sort of ‘jalapeno people’…you know, the name and all…there’s so many wildass peppers out there that just seem like a dare, not an edible and enjoyable salsa…but, ok, FINE, we’ll go one level up and drop some Serranos in there instead”

 

Oven-roasted tomatoes, red onion, garlic, and cumin combined with flame-roasted Serrano peppers for a bold & smoky charred flavor to go with that NEED for HEAT. Finished with fresh cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper, and red wine vinegar & blend into a balanced, flavorful salsa.

Not runny like hot sauce, not chunky like some other salsas, but instead perfectly minced for dipping or dressing on other dishes.

Crafted in small batches with produce picked at the peak of ripeness, all Jalapa Jar’s recipe starts with Roma tomatoes that are blended with jalapeños and red peppers and then roasted over an open flame to lock in that signature fire-roasted flavor. We preserve our freshness in every jar with real lime juice, not artificial chemicals.
